Higher School of Television

The Higher School of Television VSUES was established in 2013. The idea of establishing the Television direction in VSUES was supported by the leadership of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Company and the head of the Higher School of Television of Moscow State University of Lomonosov V.Tretyakov.

The director of the Higher School of Television at VSUES is Sergey Bulakh, who previously worked as the chief editor of the newspaper and the general director of “Vladivostok news”.

Education at the Higher School of Television of VSUES is closely related to the students’ future profession. Starting from the first year of education, students of the HST explore the secrets of their future job in professional and creative workshops under the guidance of masters of the profession. Future cameramen are working under the direction of Sergey Svishtilnikov (State television and radio company "Vladivostok") and Maxim Antonenko (VSUES video center). Students studying online journalism are practicing in the workshops of Sergey Bulakh (the network publication “ThePacific”) and Tatyana Sinitsyna (the “PrimaMedia” news agency). For students majoring in “Advertising and Public Relations” production and creative workshops were created on the basis of the PR agency “Fefer” and the DV-Region advertising agency, as well as the information and advertising department of VSUES - the workshop of Larisa Prokhorova.

The main technical base of the VSUES Higher School of Television is a branch of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Vladivostok State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company” which has signed a cooperation agreement with VSUES. The Higher School of Television VSUES also collaborates with the television company “OTV-Prim”, the information agency “PrimaMedia”, the online publication “Primorsky Reporter”, and with other electronic media in Vladivostok. HST students also use the technical base of the VSUES video center and the computer service. 

The next stage in the development of the VSUES Higher School of Television is the organization of additional professional education for employees of the electronic media of the Far East and the organization of vocationally-oriented education at the Boarding School for Gifted Children.
