VSUES and Gyeongju University signed the Memorandum of Understanding

Rector of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service Tatyana V. Terenteva and President of Korean Gyeongju University Mrs. Soon-ja Lee signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the Main meeting room of the Rector’s office on April 5, 2016.

Participants from VSUES were Tatyana V. Terenteva, Rector of VSUES; Petr L. Semin, Head of International and Cultural Affairs Department; Galina A. Gomilevskaya, Head of School of International Tourism and Hospitality; Aleksandra P. Piginesheva, Head of International Academic Mobility Office.

Dr. Soon-ja Lee, President of Gyeongju University; Dr. Seon-pil Kim, Assosiate Professor in the Department of Electrical Energy and Computer Engineering and Dr. Dong-kil Shin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Practical Music and Performance presented Gyeongju University from Republic of Korea.

After the welcome speech, Tatyana V. Terenteva told that Gyeongju University and VSUES have many things in common, such as being both international universities with exchange educational programs for foreign students. In addition, she noticed that both universities make accents on developing such majors as design, tourism, hotel management and hospitality. Rector said that VSUES would be happy to welcome representatives of Gyeongju University to participate in International Contest of Young Designers “Pygmalion”, which would take place in May.

In the end of the meeting, parties signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the universities and exchanged with memorable gifts. Then the delegation of Gyeongju University had a campus tour and visited School of Tourism and International School of Hotel Management.
