Vietnamese airline "VietJet Air" is going to launch a direct flight from Vladivostok to Nyachang soon. The opening of the new international airline was discussed in more detail by the representatives of the company during the business meeting at VSUES.

But the main issue of the official visit was discussion of further cooperation of the two sides: the School of Service, Fashion and Design offers "VietJet Air" to recruit flight attendants from among VSUES students majoring in Aviation Service.

- “Aviation Service major was opened in VSUES 5 years ago. It is a joint program with our partner companies: Aurora airlines and Vladivostok International Airport. Now about 120 students study the program successfully. After the graduation they may work in aviation or non-aviation services. A program with the training center of the Aurora airlines company has been organized to prepare flight attendants. We are ready implement this experience with the Vietnamese side as well”, explains the director of the School of Service, Fashion and Design Inna Klochko.

The partnership is also possible at the level of academic mobility: the employees of the company "VietJet Air" can give lectures to VSUES students, and the students in turn can do internship on board of aircraft or in the structure of a department (non-aviation activity). For a detailed discussion of the possible cooperation, VSUES and representatives of "VietJet Air" agreed to meet again.

The official reception at VSUES was organized by the International and Cultural Affairs Department of VSUES and the General Consulate of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Vladivostok.
