We all know that exercising is good for health. But VSUES international students do sports not only to keep fit but to socialize with new friends and have plenty of fun.

The main sporting event of this fall has become the Interuniversity Tournament (the Spartakiad) held by the Asia Pacific Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature.

The tournament has united students form 27 countries. International teams from eight Far Eastern universities came to compete at VSUES and FEFU sports grounds. The competition included swimming, basketball, volleyball, five-a-side football, table tennis, badminton, street ball and track-and-field.

This year the VSUES team ranks second in the overall ranking.

VSUES sports grounds are open for those willing to stay at the top of their game.
