The day of Far Eastern designers and designers of Asia-Pacific countries was the culmination of the University Pacific Style Week.

Professional designers Yang Hua (China), Misun Yum (Korea), Cho Yourim (R. Korea), Huh Gayoung (Korea), Hyesook Park (R. Korea), Irina Akulina, Lyudmila Goranska, Love Salyuk, Kristina Pershina, Marina, Hamina, as well as the creative association of students and teachers of VSUES under the brand "1204" presented their vision of the trends of the spring-summer 2019 season.

The designers prepared more than 30 collections, 150 costumes, dozens of styles of everyday clothes for work, walks, travel, sports, outdoor activities, and evening wear for young people and slightly older people. Children were not excluded either – school and sports uniforms, festive outfits and casual clothes were presented on the runway. Many teenagers would be happy to have the outfits in their wardrobes.

Colors, textures, shapes, prints and images of models differed radically. But there was something that united the work of designers: literally tangible expressions of the spirit of modern/urban life, the mood of the streets and the sea coast, freedom of choice and expression.

“On the podium Brands day, young brands of Vladivostok who are looking for their admirers, come out”, says the director of the Institute of Service, Fashion and Design VSUES, Inna Klochko, “and for sure, here every viewer can find something for themselves. The beauty of the show is that the presented clothes can be worn in everyday life, not only on the podium. And it is not surprising that after the show, there were a lot of people who wanted to buy their favorite models of clothes. The collection for ladies "40+", which we included in the program Brands day after the premiere at the show "Silver Rhapsody", made a great impression. We received several offers of cooperation and invitations to international fashion weeks in China.”

At the end of the show, the audience and participants willingly shared their impressions with journalists and among themselves.

“This is my third participation in such an event”, said one of the participating models. “I really liked the organization of Brands day; everything was at the highest level. Each presented brand is unique and beautiful in its own way.”

Yang Hua, designer, author of the collection "Wind", Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute, Xianyang, China:

“Our Chinese delegation is very pleased to be present at this wonderful event – Pacific Style Fashion Week in Vladivostok. We were very interested in this experience: it was interesting to see how other designers work and demonstrate their models, for comparison.”
