The VSUES delegation has opened «Student Base» in ten schools in Shandong Province, China

In early November, a VSUES delegation consisting of the senior officer of the Department of International Educational Programs, Inessa Fomina, and the teacher of the preparatory department for foreign citizens, Natalya Strizhakova, visited 10 schools in Shandong province, China. The visit to the schools was organized by the VSUES partner the Guanhong School of Education and Training in Zibo City. The aim was opening a «Student Base» in each school to prepare students wishing to receive education in Russia.

«Today, more and more Chinese children are coming to Russia to get education», Inessa Fomina commented. - «Several factors influence this decision: the high quality of Russian education and the cost of studying and living in Russia, which is more attractive compared to European countries».

In addition, the representatives of VSUES held presentations for school graduates about the possibility of obtaining Russian higher education and about the study and dormitory conditions at VSUES.

«The students, of course, were fascinated with the views of the city, especially its seaside location. They were also interested in university infrastructure», said Natalya Strizhakova.
