Startup village 2020 is the eighth annual international startup conference for technology entrepreneurs. At Startup Village, young Russian entrepreneurs present their projects at a competition and at an innovative market, learn from the experience and knowledge of successful entrepreneurs from different countries, startups find their investors, and large technology corporations, government officials and development institutions discuss technological trends and ways to shape a new generation of Russian businessmen.

This year, the Startup village 2020 competition program was held on four tracks: information technology, industrial technology, biomedical technology, energy-efficient technology. The jury members evaluated the technological innovation of the projects, competitive advantages, the quality of the project and the qualifications of the team.

 The project of the graduate of the Institute of Information Technology and Systems VSUES Alexander Ganyushkina «Robot Adam» qualified for the semifinal of the competition.

- Robot Adam is a unique project that is designed to help beginners in robotics by solving the problems of modern analogs by combining accessibility and wide functionality, - notes the author of the project, Alexander Ganyushkin. – Robot Adam has such advantages as a variable design that can be changed according to the request of customers, the ability to move comprehensively and voice playback, and technologies such as an active stereoscopic vision system, a control system for manipulators based on the inverse kinematics principle, and control technology using a virtual reality system .
