The International School of Environment and Tourism gave the final and bright point in the cycle of VVSU Open Days. The division combines educational programs on tourism, ecology, hotel and restaurant business, as well as international internships, competitions, projects and much more.

Interactive platforms helped to immerse students and their parents in the life of the School. At them, the participants studied plant cells under a microscope, conducted chemical experiments, learned to set the table in an original way, and chose a profession interesting for themselves.

Director of the School Galina Gomilevskaya told the applicants more about the fields of education presented by the International School. She noted that each educational program here is very multifaceted, which makes VVSU graduates even more popular in the labor market.

Tourism students, for example, gain knowledge of the tour operator, hotel and restaurant business and can work in many fields, including public administration.

The Ecology and Nature Management field includes an advanced biology and geography unit in addition to environmental safety disciplines, which is particularly important for professionals working as tour guides in National Parks.

The School's professors try to diversify the student's learning process and make classes interesting and useful for future specialists. For example, thanks to the university-based «VGUES Travel» company, students can go on research internships all over Russia.

In addition, VVSU has modern laboratory facilities for practice-oriented classes: a laboratory for hotel services, restaurant services, a chemistry laboratory and a virtual laboratory.
