Department of Civil Law Disciplines
Department of Civil Law Disciplines provides the study of more than twenty disciplines of private law, which form the basis of legal education. The department also offers to study additional educational programs and disciplines, such as, “Fundamentals of Law of the PRC”, “Law of the APR countries”, “Legal regulation of foreign economic activity”, etc.
Faculty of the department is carry out comparative research of individual branches of Russian and foreign law. Scientific reports and articles based on these researches are printed in scientific publications. Research conducted by teachers of the department is carried out as a part of research grants from the Russian Humanitarian Foundation, governmental contracts by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation, and etc.
Department of Civil Law Disciplines integrates the research work of students in the real economy. The alumni receive professional skills and knowledge gaining advantages not only on the regional, but also on the all-Russian labor market.
In order to discuss the most important issues of the theory and practice of legal regulation of private law relations a lot of seminars and lectures are held on the basis of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines with the participation of the officials of state and local government bodies, representatives of the legal community.
From the first to the second year of education the department provides students with the opportunity to undergo an introductory internship during the whole academic year in law enforcement agencies and private legal organizations. In the third and fourth years the undergraduate students have professional internship allowing gaining necessary professional skills for the future job. The department helps its students to find a job according to their major by informing graduates about vacancies in the legal field, by issuing recommendations for employment and providing professional certification.
