Department of Criminal Law Disciplines

The Department of Criminal law Disciplines was established in 2016 by order of the rector of VVSU. The department has a qualified faculty, a team whose members have solid practical experience and good theoretical background. As for the activities of the department it includes educational work, research work, and strategic partnership for establishing the cooperation with law enforcement, state and municipal authorities, companies, and organizations.

The faculty of the department provides lectures and seminars in the disciplines of the criminal cycle; manages various types of internships and scientific guidance on the preparation of term papers and final qualifying works.

The research activities of the department of criminal law disciplines are due to the field of the educational activities of the department and the geopolitical position of the region. The professors of the department are engaged in the study of topical issues of law; carry out comparative studies of the regulations of the legal institutions of Russia and the post-soviet states; analyze and summarize court practice.

The results of scientific studies are tested in journals hosted on the Russian Science Citation Index platform, at international and All-Russian conferences.

The professors of the department of constitutional and administrative law actively cooperate with colleagues from FEFU, Vladivostok branch of the Far Eastern Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Law Office of Primorsky Krai, Primorsky Regional Prosecutor's Office, Primorsky Regional Court, the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory.

Thanks to established contacts, students have the opportunity to train on the profile of training in law enforcement agencies, at enterprises and in organizations.
