2. LEARNING OUTCOMES

Learning Outcomes
The students are expected to be able to engage in oral and written communication in Russian for both daily life and educational communicative contexts (e.g. expressing opinions and taking a part in a dialogue). The students are presumed to master the conversations about daily routines, social affairs, holidays and travels. And the reading and writing skills are supposed to qualify the level of upper-intermediate. Furthermore, the students will obtain the knowledge of life in Russia, Russian customs, traditions, and modern cultures.

General Skills

To develop language competence (increase vocabulary, develop and practice speaking, listening and reading skills).
To develop social competence (learn and practice Russian language speech patterns and models in various communicative situations, study Russian culture and Russian etiquette, improving intercultural communication skills, public communications skills and communication in formal and informal situations).

4. TEACHING METHODS - ASSESMENT

USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY:

This curriculum includes teaching methods such a collaborating, demonstrating, classroom discussion. This course provides students-centered methods, which helps with a formation of foreign language speaking skills in accordance with the individual characteristics of the student. All classes are facilitated by internet and presentation equipment, so students do assessments by using computers, projectors, boards, and audio speakers.
