Logistics Systems Management

Logistics Systems Management is an educational program aimed at preparing graduates for effective organizational and managerial, information and analytical, entrepreneurial, design and research activities in logistics and supply chain management as top and middle managers, as well as for continuing postgraduate studies.

Practical skills:

  • Optimization of the parameters of inventory, information and financial flows in enterprises of any organizational and legal form and/or in supply chains
  • Developing logistics strategy for an organization and controlling its implementation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of innovative technology in logistics operations
  • Designing and implementing information and technology support for logistics activities
  • Organizing the work of performers for implementing the logistic strategy of the organization and completing logistic projects
  • Selecting insourcing/outsourcing solutions in the strategic logistics activities of the enterprise
  • Management and integration of logistics processes in the supply chain of organizations
  • Formation of an effective logistics infrastructure of the organization (supply chain)
  • Solving the problems of cross-functional and cross-organizational logistics coordination in supply chains
  • Logistics budgeting and development of personnel motivation systems for the logistics services of the organization

They are able to conduct research, analytical and design work on optimizing enterprise logistics processes and/or supply chain, cost reduction and rationalization of commodity flow patterns.
  • The theoretical knowledge obtained during the training process ensures readiness for scientific research activities and provides an opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies.

The specific features of the educational process at VVSU are as follows:

  • Involvement of lecturers with practical experience in logistics
  • Using of e-learning technologies (face-to-face classes + students' independent work with e-learning courses and other educational resources placed in the electronic educational environment of VVSU)
  • Participation in developing business projects for leading enterprises of Vladivostok and Primorsky region
  • Studying modern information technologies in computer classrooms, getting access to electronic resources of leading libraries and databases of the world
