State Regulation of the Economy

State Regulation of the Economy — an educational program that forms competencies in the management of complex processes of socio-economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation, municipalities, regulation of development of industries using project, program-targeted management, financial, investment planning and mechanisms of public-private partnership.

You will acquire practical skills of:

• Forecasting the socio-economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation and municipal formations on the basis of the analysis of the macroeconomic environment of the region and the assessment of individual economic sectors
• Strategic and program-targeted planning for the development of economic sectors, constituent entities of the Russian Federation and municipal formations, individual spheres and sectors of state regulation and administration
• Project and investment planning of the projects that are crucial to the region's economy
• Development of the budget forecast and budget parameters of subject of the Russian Federation or municipal formations
• Development of comprehensive measures of managerial impact on the economic environment of the region with application of special economic regimes and other measures of state support of investment activities

• Master modern methods of diagnosing, analyzing and solving socio-economic problems of the region, municipal formation, methods of making managerial decisions in the economic sphere and their implementation in practice
• Influence the efficiency of regulatory measures in the socio-economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation, municipal formations and individual economic sectors
• Continue postgraduate studies.

• The highest and the main group of civil service positions — heads of economic, financial and sectoral departments in the system of executive authorities of the Russian Federation
• Heads, leading specialists of departments and divisions in the system of local authorities related to the planning of the socio-economic development of municipalities
• Heads and leading specialists of planning, economic, financial, and project departments of state and municipal institutions and organizations
