The 1st performance of Japanese «Noh» theatre in Vladivostok

The General Consulate of Japan in Vladivostok will organize the performance of the Japanese traditional theater “Noh” as part of the program “Year of Japan in Russia”.

Date and Time: 3 December 2018 (Monday), 19:00-20:30

Place: Russia, Vladivostok, 27 Pushkinskaya street, Pushkin Theatre

December 3, 2018, the residents of Vladivostok will get acquainted with one of the national art of Japan, which is included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO. The traditions of the “Noh” theater have remained unchanged to present days.

Two plays will be presented:

“HAGOROMO - The Feather Robe”

“MAKIGINU - The Rolls of Silk”

Collecting materials for reporting

During the event, only media representatives are allowed to do video or photoshoot (flash and strobe are prohibited). In addition, after the end of the speech (approximately from 21:00) a meeting with representatives of the media is planned, during which it will be possible to interview the participants of the speech. Media representatives, who wish to participate, should contact the Department of Information and Culture of the Consulate General of Japan in Vladivostok in advance.
