VSUES went ahead with development of a new model of educational process

The first project meeting of this year took place in the auditorium of the Academic council. Its subject was “New model of educational process in VSUES: necessity of implementation and possibilities for development”.

A big part of the meeting was devoted to education targeted on professional preparation of students which included elements of business activity. Such education helps build up competences that are required by the labour market. VSUES has success in that field. Next task is implementation of science-targeted approach in education.

VSUES has made many steps in that regard and received good results. For example, students’ course and thesis works are used in the industry. Among customers of the universities there are large enterprises and businesses of Primorski Krai. Educational process of students in VSUES combines theory and practice. It became possible due to a new global project called “VSUES-City”.   

Special attention in VSUES is paid to rise of teachers’ qualification in programs offered by leading universities of our country and the world. Young teachers, winners and finalists of the contest “Teacher of the year” and active participants of competence development programs were invited to the first project meeting of this year. The participants discussed technology of organization of an educational process for achievement of certain results and shared their knowledge in that regard.
