Presentation of the PACIFIC STYLE WEEK project was held in VSUES

The main intrigue of the traditional Twelfthtide meetings of VSUES president, professor Gennady Lazarev was a presentation of the PACIFIC STYLE WEEK project – Week of fashion, style and beauty industry of APR countries.

The token event will take place from May, 13 until May, 20 on the grounds of Champion-1 sports and exhibition complex and Underground student theatre and concert complex in VSUES. Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service will act as a project organizer and will be supported by regional and city administrations.

The forthcoming Pacific style week will be filled with eye-catching show, contests, master classes and parties. A-list celebrities of Russian and foreign haute couture runways are invited. The project will include spectacular presentations of famous brands - Fashion Week, “Super model of APR” model contest for the rank and title of “Miss PACIFIC STYLE”, competition show “Master-Style” for stylists and an exhibition of photographers “Рacific view”.

Models of the student fashion theatre “Pigmalion” showed a fragment of the coming Fashion Week. They demonstrated known and recognized collections of costume designers. In May they will display popular brands of APR fashion industry topnotchers and participate in a contest of “Pigmalion” young designers.

Famous models will give master classes of modeling disciplines for beautiful girls who plan to contest for the crown and title of “APR super model”.

Another spectacular show and contest is going to be a “Master style” contest for hairdressers, stylists and make-up artists of APR countries. Both professionals and students will take part in it.

VSUES president Gennady Lazarev remarked that this project opened wide opportunities for demonstration of achievements in fashion, style and beauty industry of APR countries and it would step outside of the university bounds and attract more new participants and partners.
