Representatives of VSUES and Kaplan higher education academy discussed cooperation and joint programs

VSUES is actively developing international cooperation with the world largest educational institutions.

Representatives of the management team of VSUES and Kaplan higher education academy (Singapore) have recently carried out their first negotiations. They discussed possibilities of attracting international students to educational programs of VSUES, creating joint educational programs, accreditation of a number of subjects in business administration, financial management, hospitality and tourism, personnel management. Joint cooperation in social and cultural projects and sport were considered as well.

Vice president of the academy Peter Lewis also suggested exchange of teaching staff, scholarship and educational programs. Foreign guests said that their academy had cooperation with universities in the whole world – USA, Great Britain, Australia, North Ireland and they wanted to have a Russian partner represented by VSUES.

VSUES president Gennady Lazarev told his foreign colleagues that there was a tendency among students to go for double-degree programs and have both Russian and international diploma. VSUES already has educational programs that provide such a possibility. However, the value of cooperation with the academy Kaplan (Singapore) will be sizeable.

Note: Kaplan higher education academy (Singapore) is a part of Kaplan corporation which is a leading international provider of educational services. At present time about 18 000 students study at the academy, among them there is more than 3000 international students. In 2011 Kaplan academy was recognized as one of the best private educational institutions.
