The teachers of the Fashion and Beauty Industry College of VSUES visited Chinese colleagues

Teachers of the College of Fashion and Beauty Industry of VSUES Anastasia Lobyak and Lyudmila Melnikova held a workshop on hairstyles and visage for China students. Lessons were held at the Mudanjian hairdressing college (Beifang Hairdressing School). In the future the colleges intend to establish business cooperation and start educational exchange programs for students.

70 people participated in the workshop. The teachers of VSUES demonstrated their technical skills, and then their colleagues from China showed their skills.

- I made a textured tail of curls. It’s an unusual hairstyle for Chinese hairdressers. Rather even exotic, I would say. They work differently. For example, it’s popular to have haircut in Korean style among men, which looks like a short trimmed back of the head and a voluminous bang,  -  said Anastasia Lobyak. – We have a lot to learn from each other. I was very surprised by their discipline. Absolutely all of the students held a lessons in full silence and all questions were asked in the end of the workshop. Back in Russia we usually have a relaxed atmosphere; everyone is joking and laughing during the lessons. And it’s silence and concentration in Chinese class. So that’s how they show respect to elders.

Teachers of VSUES are back from the business trip now and continue working in college. Now Anastasiya Lobyak is preparing her students for the WorldSkills demo-exam in “Hairdressing”, which will be held April 15-16, 2019. April 23, 2019 Anastasia will take a part in the competition of hair-stylists of the Asia-Pacific region countries “Master-style”. The event will be the part of the Pacific University Style Week.
