Modern communications are not only a means of mass media, but also a powerful industry related to the digital environment. The “Television” direction has received a new profile called “Journalism and Digital Multimedia”. The program is implemented by the Higher School of Cinema and Television. The educational program trains specialists for work in various multimedia mass media and other communication channels.

Knowledge and skills

Graduates are proficient in creating various types of content: audio, video, infographics, photographs, and texts. They feel confident working both in traditional media outlets and in broadcast or virtual projects.

Career opportunities and Employability

Graduate students can become a multimedia journalist and work in television companies, radio stations, online media outlets, production firms, and advertising companies, as well as in PR agencies and related information and communication structures.They can also participate in shaping public opinion and influence social, economic, and cultural processes in society.

Practice and Projects

Students are authors and hosts of segments on a local TV channel and have also created a series of documentary films about the founders of journalism education in the Russian Far East.
