Vladivostok Cultural and Educational Public Organization «Alliance-Française» and the VSUES Museum invite to the opening of the exhibition of the French photographer Jean-Marc Godès «Living Books» November 5 at 16:00 in the main hall of the VSUES museum.
Jean-Marc Godès is a photographer, sculptor and director whose works are exhibited in France, Canada, Switzerland, and now in Russia.
The photographer’s work is at the junction of photography, poetry, literature and even theater. The author invites you to think about the place of the imaginary in the modern world. According to Jean-Marc Godès, the main thing in his work is not photography itself, but the moment of the meeting of the world of photography with the imagination of the person who perceives this world. Inspired by the work of the French poet Jacques Prévert Jean-Marc Godès has been creating his «book stories» for twelve years now.
