VSUES students tell about their training at North-East Forestry University
Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service and North-East Forestry University have long-standing partnerships relations.
In 2010-2011 academic year almost 300 Chinese students were recruited on joint educational program. According to this program VSUES higher-education teaching personnel lecture at North-East Forestry University. 17 NEFU students study at VSUES School of Foreign Languages.
From September 2011 VSUES and NEFU signed agreement on students exchange program. At the present time 2 VSUES exchange students from School of International Business and Economics study at NEFU. That is what Ekaterina Derkacheva and Tatiana Opanasyuk told us about their experiences:
NEFU is located in the city center. Very comfortable and quiet campus. We study at School of Forestry Economics and Management. We learn Chinese language and subjects in Chinese language such as: Chinese market economy, management and marketing. NEFU teachers are ranked among the best.
September 15, 2011 we took part in concert dedicated to freshmen. The concert took place in one of the biggest NEFU concert hall with a capacity of 5 000 places. 4 000 were occupied. University orchestra consisted of Chinese traditional instruments took part in this concert. Chinese students sang well enough not only in Chinese but in English too.
Along with our compatriots (students from Yekaterinbourg) we sang “Katyusha” and danced Russian folk dance. They gave us Russian national costumes and we are very grateful for this.
Chinese student Valya helped us a lot. Last year she studied at VSUES and really liked it. Valya is looking forward to come back to Vladivostok.
