Foreign students celebrated the New Year and Christmas in VSUES.

Students of the profile “Linguistics”, trainees from Harbin Forestry University and Russian language course students from China, South Korea and the USA presented gifts to each other and told about how the New Year celebrations were held at their motherland. Merry contests carried out by teachers of the Department of the Russian language E.N. Pugacheva and E.U.Goncharuk helped the students learn about Russian traditions of meeting the New Year. The chairholder of the Russian language department U.O. Konovalova taught the students the art of paper snowflakes making. In the end of the meeting a big New Year tea party gave a good occasion for reciting poems, singing songs in different languages and receiving gifts from Father Frost.
