VSUES student Alexei Ukrainets won in the Open Karting Championship of South Korea.
Last weekend in the suburb of Seoul the first stage of the Open Karting Championship of South Korea took place. The 3rd year student of the profile “Traffic organization and safety” of the School of Computer Science, Innovations and Business Systems of VSUES Alexei Ukrainets came back to Vladivostok as a champion after winning the first international start of the season 2012 in this kind of sport.
On the South Korean go-cart track “Kartland Paju-si” the VSUES student had already shown himself as “quick Russian” in the season 2011 when Alexei Ukrainets came in first in the finishing fifth stage of the Korea Kart Championship. According to Russian karting federation experts the competition of 2012 was much more difficult for our driver, because the contestants already knew what could be expected from the racing driver. At the same time Alexei was insistently getting ready for the races both at the go-cart track “Zmeinka” in Vladivostok and in the VSUES gym.
We should also mention that a week earlier at the winter stage of motor rally “Amur-Zea” the crew of Alexei Ukrainets (driver) and Maxim Cherny (navigator) took the first place in the most powerful and prestigious class - 4000Н. These are cars with 2-liter engine volume, turbocharged and 4 wheel drive.
Alexei Ukrainets brought one more champion’s title to the sport glory of VSUES.
Our congratulations!
