School of foreign languages of VSUES had a round-table discussion with participation of American guests
Second round table with participation of 4-year students of SFL and American students that study the Russian language and the Far East in VSUES took place in our university.
This discussion was devoted to development of the Far East and was called “To stay or not to stay in RFE (moving to Moscow or abroad)”.
The Americans pointed out that this meeting was not less interesting as the previous one that had been related to family traditions and values of the Far East people.
Jonathan Blaisdell and Daniel Mc Whirt shared their impressions about living in Vladivostok with the other students. – VSUES students asked our opinion about the Russian culture and life in Vladivostok. We compared this city with San Francisco. We have visited many cities of Russia and can say that the Russians are very hospitable people. Regarding the question “To stay or not to stay in RFE”, we think that it is good that the government of the country is investing in the development of this region. Primorye has huge opportunities considering its geographical location.
