Consul general of the Republic of Korea in Vladivostok shared secrets of success with VSUES students.

Mr. Lee Yang Goo, Consul general of the Republic of Korea, gave students a lecture on the topic “Presentation of Korea. Ways of cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Russian Far East”.

According to Mr. Lee Yang Goo, the students needed to know outstanding features of Korea in order to understand this country. The model of development of the Republic of Korea is a wonderful example of how a poor country can become an economically developed state.

During the lecture the students saw a presentation of the forthcoming world-wide exhibition “EXPO-2012”. The international exhibition will take place in the city Yeosu from May, 12 up to August, 12. The main subject of the exhibition is “Living ocean and coastal area: variety of resources and their sound management”.

In the end of his visit the Consul general gave the students several pieces of advice that could help them become successful people and professionals of their business. According to Mr. Lee Yang Goo it is important to get up early, to read a lot, to do sports, to keep a diary, to plan one’s time correctly, to demonstrate tolerance and to think positively.
