VSUES participated in Beijing International Education Expo

VSUES took part in the international exhibition of educational services that was carried out in Beijing from May, 31 until June, 1. This exhibition is one of the largest and most successful events of the industry in China and Asia. It is an informational platform that represents worldwide educational resources and possesses all necessary qualifications according to modern requirements of future students that prefer to study abroad. The Russian display united 47 universities. It was organized with the assistance of the Ministry of education and science of Russia. Representatives from 14 Russian higher education institutes arrived in Beijing for the exhibition.

The purpose of participation in the international exhibition for the Russian institutes was to exchange innovative education projects, to enlist students, to develop direct partnership with education institutions of China, to create joint education programs and to promote study of the Russian language.

Our university was represented at the exhibition by Irina Chernaya, vice-president for academic affairs; Wang Bing, deputy chief of International relations department; Tatyana Gubaidulina, director of School of foreign languages; Natalya Masyuk, director of School of law and management. VSUES presented programs of student exchange, organization of visits for foreign academics, program of two diploma, different forms of traineeship, Russian language courses, etc. Special attention was devoted to promotion of a new international program in hotel management realized together with Pacific International Hotel Management School (New Plymouth, New Zealand).

Topical roundtable discussions were held within the framework of the exhibition. One of the discussions was devoted to contemporary issues of Russian and Chinese cooperation in the field of education. According to its results the deputy president of the Russian and Chinese fund of culture and education development offered to cooperate with VSUES in the area of education and culture.
