Medalists of Vladivostok enter VSUES

Ceremony of silver medal giving to graduates of Vladivostok schools took place in VSUES. According to a heart-warming tradition the medalists were honored in the theatre and concert complex “Underground”. Joyful and well-dressed graduates entered the concert hall to the strains of a school waltz and ovation of their parents, teachers and guests.

Mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev congratulated the graduates:

- You have highly gratified your relatives, teachers and the city with your accomplishments. At present you are choosing which university to apply to for further education. VSUES is a great university with many remarkable achievements. It has a modern campus, a large number of gym halls and sport grounds, convenient escalator. I wish you much success as our future depends on you.

VSUES president, Doctor of Economics Gennady Lazarev wished that the medalists would continue to reach out for serious heights:

- You have gained a big and serious victory, that is receiving a silver medal. Now you look forward to becoming students. I invite you to join us at VSUES. Our university has all the conditions for successful study.

Mother of a silver medalist Natalya Kachura said:

- My daughter Ekaterina has been a good schoolgirl from the very beginning. This medal has become a well-deserved honour for her. She wishes to receive education in the area of international relations. VSUES is one of the favorite universities that we are considering.

Actors of the Youth center in VSUES and creative teams from Vladivostok entertained the heroes of the occasion and the present guests with a saturated concert program.

Administration of the Vladivostok city has also prepared a special present for the graduates. Silver medalists will be the first city folk to have a stroll across the cable bridge connecting the Golden Horn banks.
