- Everything in England is saturated with Olympic spirit: one can see symbols of the Games everywhere in the streets, statues and mascots at the embankment along the Thames, souvenirs in each supermarket and street store. Expecting the grand event prices have shopped up sky high. However, this does not prevent me from enjoying each minute that I am here. London is really magnificent!
Note: The Olympic village is located on the territory of 36 hectares only. It is the most compact residential compound in all the history of the Olympic Games.
