- We have renovated the museum that was founded in VSUES in 2000. The old museum was devoted to the history of our university. However, life goes on. Old artifacts were partially left in the refurbished museum and exhibition complex and many new ones appeared in it, - said director of the complex Tamara Viewn.
The refurbished museum consists of three halls: historic, contemporary VSUES and expositional ones. The historic hall exhibits specimen of the Soviet past, such as gramophone, old photo cameras, TV sets made in 1949, 1950, 1958 and 1959. History of the university and its schools from the foundation until the present day is displayed in the next hall. The hall presents current achievements of the university and information about the graduates that VSUES is proud of.
From September, 21 until October, 21 visitors of the museum can see a photo exhibition of Alexandr Borisenko called “APEC-Vladivostok-VSUES” in the expositional hall. This hall is planned to be used as modern exhibition grounds in the future.
