VSUES and Japanese Institute of post diploma education signed an agreement about academic exchange

Before signing the agreement the guests from Japan were given a tour about the university. At first they were shown the museum and exhibition complex. The head of conservation for the museum funds Nadezhda Sukhareva told the guests of honour about history of the museum starting from 1967 until the present day and about schools and profiles implemented in VSUES.
Later the representatives of the Japanese university visited the library and looked at the showcases with prizes and medals of the champions from VSUES. After that they headed for the turquoise hall to have a meeting with VSUES president Gennady Lazarev and to sign an agreement.
Gennady Lazarev told the Japanese guests about increasing importance of post diploma education in Russia. He also mentioned that the education in VSUES follows the principle “Education throughout the whole life”.
The president of Japanese Institute of post diploma education provided information about his institute. It focuses mainly on foreign students of economic profiles. Its academic staff puts an emphasis on teaching students to create and develop businesses.
According to the chief of International relations department of VSUES Anastasiya Kucherenko the academic exchange by the agreement will include exchange programs for students, teachers and scientists, organization of joint seminars and conferences, exchange of education materials and exchange programs for administrative staff.
