Folk City Festival brought talented young people of the Far East together

The tenth anniversary regional festival of children and youth creativity “Folk City Festival” ended in VSUES with a gala concert where the best artists and ensembles of the Far East took part. The festival attracted many spectators, both children and grown-ups to the Underground theatre and concert complex. This year more than 90 musical groups and ensembles participated in the Folk City Festival.  

The festival is held annually and it is supported by the department of education and science of Primorski Krai and by the administration of Vladivostok city. Its winners receive premia of the President of the Russian Federation devoted for talented youth within the frames of a national project “Education”.

Beside the spectators and representatives of authorities the young participants were also supported by business community. The best groups and performers were awarded with prizes from sponsors and VSUES president.
