Representatives of the College of foreign languages, tourism and air service of the Niigata city met with the 1-year students of the department of World economy and international relations. Director of the AIR College and an international relations department official told the students about Niigata and about the college and programs for international students. The lecture was delivered in English.

The students were shown a film about the International AIR College. This film contained an interview with a student from Vladivostok where he said about what had attracted him to Niigata and how he had entered the college.

According to educational rules of Japan, an international student has an opportunity to work in the country if he comes to study for the period of more than 3 months and passes the language possession test successfully.

- VSUES has carried out a cooperation program with the AIR College for more than 6 years. Five of our students went to Niigata to study. Three of them stayed in Japan, entered a university and found a job, - said a leading specialist of the International relations department Yuliya Dotsenko. – This year two students of VSUES expressed a wish to go to the College of foreign languages, tourism and air service.  One of them received a grant that would pay for six months of study at a year and a half program. Judging by my experience the first stage of education for students in Japan is summer courses. Upon completion they put efforts to find a long-term programs in this country. College of foreign languages, tourism and air service is always happy to enlist VSUES students and helps them with further study, - added Yuliya.
