VSUES became a co-organizer of the Far Eastern Russian and Korean forum

The forum gathered together leading economists, politicians, scientists and representatives of businesses from the Republic of Korea, Primorski Krai, Khabarovsk and Kamchatka, Sakhalin region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The main topic of the forum was a discussion of priority directions for development of Russian and Korean cooperation on the territory of the Russian Far East in sectors of transport, logistics, energy and environment.

Teachers and students of the department of World economy and international relations of VSUES had a chance to be present at the forum and to participate in the discussion.

- The present forum is an important event for teachers and students of our department. Teachers had an opportunity to communicate with representatives of businesses, colleagues from other universities and to learn the latest news regarding advanced areas for two-sided cooperation. Many of our students will do their term and diploma projects about regional development and about cooperation between Russia and the Republic of Korea, - said associated professor of the department of World economy and international relations of VSUES Alexandra Piginesheva.
