Volunteers of the Olympic Games in Sochi study in VSUES

VSUES has got into the Olympic spirit again. Second classroom stage of preparation of volunteers for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games started in the university. After gathering and registration the volunteers headed for the classroom where training managers of the organising committee “Sochi 2014” were waiting for them.

Coacher Yanina Shkrebets from the Department of managing Olympic and Paralympic villages said:

- This 2-day training is devoted to the course “My work”. Volunteers will learn everything about the villages. We will tell about characteristic aspects of work as a volunteer in detail using actual examples.

Volunteer center of VSUES is the most active and responsible one. The next stage of training will take place in Sochi right before the Games. Volunteers will come to the Olympic village and will go through training on the site.

Volunteers of the Games shared their impressions from the training:

- Coachers give us much useful and important information applying team building games and brainstorming sessions. In addition to classroom training we study at home. There are special educative portals where we can improve our knowledge of foreign languages and learn more information about the Games, Olympic objects and our future activities in Sochi, - says student of School of management of VSUES, volunteer Alexandra Merkulova.
