Shenyang University and VSUES outlined further steps of cooperation

Representatives from Shenyang University (China) - university administration and students (basketball players) visited VSUES from January, 21 to January, 26. Chinese sports team took part in several play-offs held within the International Students Basketball League.

During their visit the delegation from Shenyang University had an official meeting with Oksana Martynenko, VSUES Vice-President on Marketing and academic policy, Wang Bing, International Relations Deputy Head, Yuliya Kravchenko, head of Russian-Chinese Cooperation Department and Feodor Shnyra, head of Students sports club.

During the meeting with the Chinese guests Oksana Martynenko pointed out that the VSUES president paid considerable attention to promotion of sport and building- up of sports facilities.

-There are three sports centers in VSUES with swimming pools and sports halls each. We have many student sports teams and we aim to involve more students and teachers of our university in sports activities.

The Chinese guests acknowledged that the VSUES sports infrastructure was the best one in the Far East region. They invited a delegation of our university to visit sports festivals which would be held in Tuntsyan and Shenyang in March of 2014 which was declared as the Russian-Chinese Youth's  Year.

VSUES Vice-President suggested the Chinese colleagues to cooperate in sports preparation of Chinese students on the base of VSUES.

The parties reached an agreement on helding a meeting of top managers of VSUES and Shenyang University in order to continue developing the partnership.
