International badminton tournament took place in the sport center of VSUES

The competition among consulate officers in Vladivostok, staff of Primorsky krai administration and VSUES workers was held in the sports center “Champion-2”. It was sponsored by the Consulate-General of India in Vladivostok and by VSUES. It is designed to promote health way of life and to strengthen ties among 50 participants from 8 organizations.

Consul-general of India in Vladivostok, Mr. Rakesh Pandey said:

-The tournament is important, of course, but our main goal was to further development of friendly relations among people from different countries. We got to know each other better and had a great time together. We also support other kinds of sport and hope to organize more tournaments on the premises of VSUES.

Nine organizations accepted the invitation to participate in the event. The number of participants exceeded 50 people.  

Players competed in doubles and singles according to international rules of badminton. The tournament ended in victory ceremony and distribution of prizes, diplomas and gifts.
