VSUES sambo wrestler Anastasiya Andrievskaya took first place in the Japanese-Russian international student sambo and judo tournament in the weight category of up to 48 kg

The tournament was held in Japan, Nissin and Higasiura. Anastasiya took part in 2 matches with 2 Japanese teams in the weight category of up to 48 kg.

Other fighters from VSUES took bronze in the Russian Sambo Championship among women in the team event. Olga Mitina, VSUES junior sambo wrestler took the 5^th place and became a member of the Russian national team. She will represent Russia in the European Sambo Championship among juniors which is taking place in Spain on June, 2014.

VSUES student sport club cooperates with Women combat sport training center “Amazonka” and systematically sponsors participation of leading VSUES students in elimination competitions and finals both on national and international levels.
