VSUES teachers promote Korean culture in Vladivostok schools

Teachers from the department of Cross-cultural communication and interpretation of School of foreign languages in VSUES held the first scheduled event targeting to promote the Korean language and culture. Together with their Korean colleague they visited Secondary school №2 and gave a culinary master class for schoolchildren.

The children did not just watch the cooking process, but took part in it. They cut vegetables and made rolls. During the master class the teacher from Korea named products in Korean. So, the children learned some new Korean words. 

As it turned out, the schoolchildren knew many dishes of Korean cookery.  The teachers helped deepen their knowledge by telling about traditional dishes in a Korean family.

In the end of the event everybody could taste the cooked dish as well as take it home.
