Russian culture is going to be the theme of a new Fashion week in Vladivostok

The most awaited and talked about cultural event of Vladivostok - PACIFIC STYLE WEEK – a week of fashion, style and beauty industry of APR countries is going to take place in the capital of Primorye from the 24 up to 31 of May. Organizers of the show informed that the main theme of the show this year would be the Russian culture. It will be represented in creations of talented designers, pattern-makers, photo artists, stylists and fashion historians.

VSUES is an organizer of the project under the auspices of Primorski Krai administration. 

Pacific Style Week program in Vladivostok:

24th of May - Opening ceremony with participation of well-known people in fashion industry

Spectators will see an outstanding show full of surprises.  

25th of May – the Russian day

Exhibition of Russian Fine Arts will present refined creations of Russian applied arts of different times in modern rendering.

26th of May – Photo competition Pacific view

Beside the competition famous photo artists of the world will give master classes to the participants and everybody who is interested in photography.

27th of May – “Master style” project

This project includes a barber's contest, First Far East forum of make-up artists and an exhibition of beauty industry - Pacific Beauty Expo. Women of Vladivostok can receive answers to all their questions about beauty from independent experts in one place.

28th of May - “Day of international designers”

Designers from Korea, USA, Italy, Iran, Singapore and Israel will present their collections in Vladivostok. It will be also possible to buy articles from these collections.

29th of May – Day of young designers

The programme presents a mould-breaking fashion show Pygmalion. Also, winners of the National award in designer’s fashion are going to be named.

30th of May – Day of wedding and evening wear fashion

One of the significant events on that day is an exhibition “Wedding-Expo” that will present the most interesting and beautiful products for a wedding ceremony.

31st of May - Closing ceremony

Within the framework of the closing ceremony winners in several nominations of the Fashion Week are going to be chosen.

PACIFIC STYLE WEEK-2014 is planned to be large-scaled and ambitious. The main events will take place in the sport complex Champion of VSUES. Master classes and seminars of fashion industry experts will be held in the entertainment complex “Underground”. A number of exhibitions and other events of the project will be organized in public centers of Vladivostok.
