Vladivostok through the eyes of international students

The International Relations department traditionally organizes photo competitions for international students as a part of cross-cultural activities. This year the exchange programme students became participants of the competition. They have lived in our city for several months and have their favorite places for walks and meetings with friends that they will undoubtedly show to their families and close ones upon return home.

Students submitted for competition photos of the Tsesarevicha and Korabelnaya esplanades where they liked to walk on sunny days, photos of fishermen at winter fishing, photos of cafes where they liked to spend time and, of course, photos of the bridges which could not but get caught in the lens.

One of the competition requirements to the participants was to explain in Russian why these places were special for them. The international students said that they liked Vladivostok a lot because they found many new friends and they were happy to come and study here.
