Japanese photographer and teacher Kadzuo Sumida had a meeting with students of VSUES Higher television school

On May, 6 the famous Japanese photographer Kadzuo Sumida visited VSUES HTS. He delivered a lecture on the topic “Black-and-white photography”. Future journalists got acquainted with his creative work and also learned how to find good ideas for a photo in day-to-day life.

Creation of Kadzuo Sumida shows life in its great variety. His works are amazing for imagination. The master of photography has spotted extraordinary and inspirational world in day-to-day things.

The students of HTS were pleasantly surprised by his work and look at the photography world. Kadzuo Sumida showed them the so called “wet photos” which were taken by him in NY. He made most of them with a hidden camera, so that people would be themselves. That is why his photos are so animate and emotional and they go outside of the common photography.

Now the master teaches in a university in Manila and organizes exhibitions. He plans to come back to Vladivostok in September with an exhibition of his works and new lectures about photo art in VSUES.
