Fashion Week “Pacific Style Week-2014” is opened!
On the 24 of May the Pacific Style Week-2014 – a fashion week for the Asia Pacific countries was opened in the sport complex “Champion” of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service. Fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev, VSUES president Gennady Lazarev, director of the Department of culture of Primorsky region Anna Aleko and a representative of “PrimSotsBank” Oksana Bespalova were invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening of the Fashion Week.
The second Fashion Week started with a demonstration of collections of famous designers:
Vyatcheslav Zaitsev – with a “Russian culture” collection
Oksana Kirichevskya – with a “Magical nature” collection
Misun Yum (Korea) – with an “Art & Hangeul” collection
Showroom “Philosophy” capsule collection Alyona Gudz SS 2014 “Lemon tree”
Ivan Fedorov – with an “Inside” collection
Knitwear brand “SHE” (Vladivostok) – with a “Pre-collection fall/winter 2014/15”
Showroom “Philosophy” – with an “EVEROOM SS 2014” collection
Mila Hermanovski (USA) - winner of the 7th season of an U.S. project "Runaway" demonstrated her stylish collection of clear and correct geometric shapes.
In addition to unforgettable runway shows of collections at the opening ceremony of Pacific Style Week there was a presentation of a project “Academy of dress” (Moscow) and a VIP-project “Dress for the Star”.
The day did not go without pleasant surprises for the guests of honour. VSUES president Gennady Lazarev received a unique collector’s book "The Magic of the Russian style" as a gift from the author - fashion historian Natalia Kozlova. Great Russian designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev was awarded with a certificate for a holiday in "Shangri-La Hotel”, Kuala Lumpur by the representatives of the international network of luxury hotels "Shangri-La".
