VSUES is entitled to provide a prestigious Presidential program for managers
VSUES is included into the list of universities that can carry out a Presidential program. The program of this level (type “A”) will be implemented the first time in Primorye on the base of the Higher School of Management.
Director of VSUES Higher School of Management, Roman Lugovoy, tells about the program and its benefits:
- “Management of development projects” is an educational program of professional retraining (type “A” advanced providing a higher level of training), which has successfully passed the competitive selection.
- Who can become a student of the program?
- These are graduates from a university with at least 5 years of working experience (3 of them on a management position) under the age of 40. It is also necessary to have a recommendation from one’s employer and to pass the competitive selection in the regional committees.
- What are future benefits of the project?
- About a quarter of the graduates have a good career growth. Every year 300-400 graduates go to work for state authorities and local governments.
- What additional skills will the program help the students obtain?
- Professional skills for strategic management of an organization, upgrade of activities and opening of new areas in business.
- What is the project component of your program?
- We predominantly use active methods of learning – organization of teamwork practical training on some project throughout the period of study. The students initiate, plan and implement a cross-subject learning project. The program also includes traineeship.
- What other additional possibilities does the Presidential program provide?
- The level of our Presidential program corresponds to the MBA program (Master of Business Administration). Our graduates have an opportunity to enter the MBA program of VSUES on attractive terms.
- What is the basis of payment for the Presidential program?
- The payment consists of three parts: 33% is paid from the Federal budget, 33% is sent from the Regional budget and 34% is paid by the organization or the specialist himself.
