Students from Japan attended national festivities

The first month of studying in VSUES came to its end for the students from Niigata University of International Culture and Information. In Japan the students study at the Faculty of International Culture specializing in Russia.
During the last month, Japanese students went through orientation, they improved their knowledge of Russian language and became more familiar with Russian culture and traditions. They visited various events: an excursion "Along Svetlanskaya street", master class of wooden spoons painting,  harvest festival and the fair "Hospitable Primorye".
One of the most interesting events was a folk festival "Oseniny". Celebrations were held in Pushkin's theater. The students tasted delicious soup, cooked food on open fire, visited a craft fair,  master class in applied creativity, they also watched an ethnographic film about Russian folk music and  danced the quadrille.
