Students from Republic of Korea learn Russian language and culture in VSUES
Twenty-six students from Hallym University (Republic of Korea) arrived in VSUES, accompanied by the head of Russian Language Department Mr. Hong Taek-Gyu. During a month the students will be learning Russian language, history and culture of our country.
The partnership between VSUES and Hallym University began in 2013 after the visit of Korean faculty to our University. The student exchange agreement was signed in 2014.
During the interview with the acting Director of VSUES Foreign Languages Institute - Julia Konovalova, Mr. Hong Taek-Gyu said:
- Our educational trip to Vladivostok became possible due to the state grant received by our University. It covers almost all expenses for travelling and studying in Russia. Every year the number of Korean students who are interested in Russia and Russian language is growing.
