Love to Vladivostok brought a victory in the festival to Chinese students of VSUES

The 4th year students-linguists became the winners of the IV online festival of friendship called     "I don\'t know another country like this", which was held in Lomonosov Moscow State University. The event was attended by undergraduates, postgraduates, interns who learn Russian language as a foreign or a non-native one. 95 people were the finalists of this online festival - representatives of 30 countries studying in 30 russian universities.

Participants had to pass two stages - preparation of creative work and presentations on the theme "The City where I study." The second stage was held online, 14 universities took part in it, including VSUES. Thousands of miles away from Moscow, it was possible to hear songs, poems and stories about cities of Russia, where participants study or were able to visit.

Chinese students of VSUES have always taken part in this festival, but they have won it for the first time. Diplomas were awarded to Liu Sang and Ho Syaodun, and Chgao Zyanyun became the winner of the festival.

Ho Syaodun says:
"I have been studying in VSUES for 2 years, and I really like Vladivostok. So I decided to write an essay about this city and about my favorite place here - it is the centre of Vladivostok. Then I found  poems devoted to Vladivostok, read them and sent the recording to Moscow.

Liu Sang adds:
- I like taking photographs. When I walk in the city centre, I always make a photo. I sent these photos together with the essay to Moscow and also read a poem about Vladivostok.
