VSUES and Chinese scientists held the second International Master Forum in Harbin

From the 16 to 18 of June VSUES and Harbin University of Commerce held the second International Master Forum in Harbin, China. During the Master Forum, 12 speakers presented their reports on the theme “Implementation of joint projects of China and Russia as a factor of strengthening of economic cooperation in Northeast Asia”. Among them was the Head of Highly qualified staff training School, Professor Aleksandr P. Latkin. All reports were in English.

The masters and scientists of the universities discussed urgent questions connected with the economic development of the countries. All participants awarded with the Diplomas of the Master Forum. More than 100 masters attended the conference hall of the Institute of Economics in the Harbin University of Commerce and practically all of them took part in the discussion. In addition, the President of Harbin University of Commerce, Head of the Institute of Economics, Head of the Institute of Master Programs and the Head of International Affairs Department attended the discussion.

Professor Aleksandr P. Latkin had a lecture for Chinese students about the problems in the development of Russian-Chinese trade. Finally, he met with the President of the Harbin University of Commerce. While the meeting was discussed the possibility of joint International Master Forum and its wide spreading on other countries of Asian-Pacific Region. Also was decided to implement the joint scientific-research project on the theme “Russia and China: tendencies of cross-border economic cooperation in the Far East”.
