Laos’s students at VSUES – rowboat contest prizewinners
In Vladivostok, Youth Day is traditionally celebrated with Dragon Boat race. The rowboat contest of 43 teams took place at Sports Harbor Embankment. A team of students from the Lao People\\'s Democratic Republic represented VSUES in the contest. The students have been preparing for the event since January at Champion Sport Complex and Sanatornaya seaside. In the contest, VSUES students were announced 3rd-Place winners.
In my opinion, - said Andrei Khomenko, a member of the Presidium of Russian Canoe Federation, - VSUES and other institutions of higher education in Vladivostok have great prospects for further development in rowboat among students, especially among international students. I hope, in nearest future inter-university rowboat contest will be organized soon.
