A perspective of the cooperation between VSUES and the Chinese Culture University

Petr Semin, the Head of International and Cultural Affairs Department, and Yuliya Konovalova, the Director of School of Foreign Languages, had an official meeting with Taiwan delegation from Chinese Culture University (CCU): Wang Ai-Mo, the Dean of the Russian Language Department and Wang Yi-Cun, the assistant professor of the Russian Language Department.

We have been working with students from Chinese Culture University for several years. Few years ago, the staff of CCU also took part in our summer school program together with their students. The summer school of Russian Language provided maximum opportunities for those who are interested in gaining the Russian language and cultural immersion. On this basis, CCU is interested in broadening partnership with VSUES in such areas as the mobility programs for students and teaching staff and double degree programs. Therefore, students will be able to adjust to Russia by not only studying the language but also experiencing and understanding Russian traditions and culture, - noted Yuliya Konovalova.

Both universities are looking forward to elaboration in science and cultural development, research collaborations and online conferences.

The Chinese Culture University invited representatives of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service to take part in Russian scientific conference that will be held on May 2018.
