Hosan University (Republic of Korea) took the initiative to establish a partnership with the College of Fashion and Beauty Industry of VSUES

A delegation from Hosan University (Republic of Korea) visited VSUES. The delegation included the director of the International Department and the Center for the Study of Korean Language, Mr. Kim Songmi; the head of the Department of Design and Beauty Industry, Ms. Nam Hyunju; and the officer of the International Department, Mr. Kim Chihe. The guests went on a guided tour of the university, thoroughly familiarizing themselves with the hairdressing salons, the makeup studio and the photo laboratory of the College of Fashion and Beauty Industry of VSUES. 

 

The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to establish mutually beneficial cooperation, commented Inna Klochkocandidate of technical sciences and the director of the Service, Fashion and Design Institute of VSUES. The Department of Design and Beauty Industry at Hosan University provides training for secondary vocational education specialists in the areas of HairdressingMake-up, and Cosmetic Aesthetics. Their interest is to get acquainted with the Russian educational programs in these areas, so they visited us as we are one of the leading schools.

 

The guests appreciated the quality of equipment in the laboratories at VSUES; the labs are equipped in accordance with WorldSkills standards. Anastasia Lobyak , teacher of the College of Fashion and Beauty Industry, and Ms. Nam Hyunju, head of the Department of Design and Beauty Industry, both of whom are WorldSkills certified experts in the field of hairdressing, discussed the possibilities of developing students’ competence as well as their quality of knowledge, and found many common points of contact. 

 

Now at the negotiation stage, we are discussing the possibilities of short-term internship programs for students and the academic mobility of teachers through master classes,” Inna Klochko noted, In the future, after the signing of the memorandum, we are planning to establish partnerships and implement a double diploma program.
